About everything in the world

Boris Zakhoder cycle Monkey House. Boris Zakhoder - Monkey's House: Verse. Who needs this morality?

Entertainment for children 5-7 years old

"Monkey House"

based on the poem of the same name by B. Zakhoder

the music hall represents the “African jungle”

Roles: Monkey - child, “rain” - 4-6 people with “rain” plumes, children in African animal hats, costumes are possible. The voice behind the scenes is the music director or teacher.

Anyone who has not been to Africa

Let him not forget:

Sometimes in Africa

It gets cold!

Possible even in Africa

Get wet in the rain

To the beast even in Africa

Need a warm home...

All animals have

Housing in Africa.

Different, of course.

To each his own.

Who has houses,

Who has houses?

I just don't have a home

One Monkey!

The song sounds in the recording “Terribly interesting” G. Gladkov, G. Oster - the first and last verses, Monkey performs acrobatic exercises.

Came in Africa

Sad time:

The rain is pouring down,

It's raining cats and dogs.

It pours without stopping

It pours without a break.

It's bad at this time

Little Monkey!

“The Thunderstorm” by A. Vivaldi sounds - children dance with the plumes.

The monkey is hiding under a palm tree, cowering

Bad, very bad

Little Monkey!

Hands turned blue

I hid it under my arms,

Huddled on a branch

Coughs, sneezes...

And the fierce downpour

Everything doesn't stop!

Monkey:

Why am I suffering so much?

I'm to blame for this

Just me!

After all, all the neighbors

Have your own houses!

I'm alone homeless

It's even strange!

After all, but still

I'm a monkey

I'm better than others

I'll build myself a house

thick bark

I'll cover it!

What do you want?

Live in your own apartment!

My hands are itching,

All four at once.

Tomorrow will come

Bright time

I'll get down to business

In the morning.

goes to bed

So all night Monkey

I thought, I dreamed...

Finally the morning

It has arrived in Africa.

The Monkey also stood up,

Somehow I warmed up,

Somehow I washed my face,

Got drunk, ate

Monkey:

I'll probably later

I'll start building a house

Just me first

I'll run to my friends.

And friends in Africa

Monkey has a lot!

You can't draw everyone

You can't describe it in a book.

In ten places Monkey

Keeps up at once

Everyone he meets

Invites you to visit:

Monkey:

Hey you animals and birds!

Tomorrow I'll build a house!

Let's have fun

There will be a feast!

all the “animals” approach the Monkey, forming a circle

"Holiday at the Zoo" music. L. Birnova, words by V. Viktorov (with changes to the text)

1.One and two, one and two, one and two, one,

There will be a holiday at Monkey's, everyone will start dancing.

An elephant and a hippopotamus are dancing - one step back, one step forward - 2 times.

2.One and two, one and two, one and two, one,

There will be a holiday at the Monkey's and everyone will dance!

The Ostrich dances, the Thrush dances, the beak is up, the tail is down - 2 times.

3.One and two, one and two, one and two, one.

There will be a holiday at Monkey's, everyone will start dancing!

Everyone who is not too lazy dances all day, all day – 2 times.

Children - “animals” stage a playful round dance.

“The Thunderstorm” by A. Vivaldi sounds, the animals scatter, only Monkey remains

Look, Monkey, the sun has set...

Storm clouds covered the sky,

And raindrops knock on the leaves...

children pretending to “rain” imitate the sounds of rain on metallophones

Monkey:

How did it happen

Pray tell me?

And why am I with them?

So you started talking?

It is known in the chatter.

No use!

Anyway!

Tomorrow the house will be on time.

It's morning again.

The sun has warmed up,

From the heat Monkey

Immediately I felt relaxed.

Monkey:

House in such heat,

Who needs it?

I need some bananas

Search for dinner

Yes, I’ll make it in time

Somehow later, -

I'll build a house.

Meanwhile, the guests

Gathered to Monkey:

Jerboa galloped up,

The mice came running.

The hippopotamus stomped

The birds have arrived -

In a word, everyone showed up.

Except the turtle.

Monkey:

We ran together skipping across Africa,

From tree to tree to catch up with the Monkey,

Then he makes grimaces, teases the Rhinoceros,

Then it catches on its tail - look, how cool it is.

Game "Mirror"

Goal: to practice expressiveness in movements. The “animal” players are on the court, the driver - the Monkey - stands facing them, she performs various imitation movements. Children-animals simultaneously copy all her gestures and facial expressions.

Look, it's rushing to new places again

Life is fun, just beautiful!

Outdoor game "Circle tag". A large circle is drawn on the court, and the players stand in a circle. At the signal, everyone runs in a circle after each other, trying to make fun of each other, if someone catches up with someone and makes a face, he leaves the game. If unexpectedly the players hear the signal, then everyone should turn around and run in the opposite direction. Trying to show off the person running ahead. Those who are not insulted win.

Somehow time flew by unnoticed.

Somehow, imperceptibly, the sky turned black,

Lightning flashed, thunder rolled...

(children use noise instruments to imitate lightning and thunder)

Monkey gasped

Monkey:

Fathers. What about the house?

There's still no home, there's still no home,

And everything around is scary,

Wild, unfamiliar.

We need to get to familiar places,

Here, of course, someone will eat me.

She fell to the ground with all her might.

She stood up, brushed herself off... timidly looked around...

Who is in front of her? Big turtle.

Exercise "Big Turtle"

Goal: to develop coordination of coordinated movements of several people at the same time.

Six children squat under a “turtle shell” and try to move in the same direction at the same time. You can use a blanket, tarpaulin, sheet of cardboard, or mattress as a shell. One of the children is the “head” of the turtle.

Turtle:

Am I late? Where is home? Where are the guests? Where is the cabbage pie, very, very tasty?

Monkey:

You can still laugh at me, Monkey, get it!

And she let the visitor come with a bump.

Will Monkey ever have a home?

To be honest, it’s hard to believe,

But look, the animals are coming here to her

Both the window and doors for the house are provided.

To the song “Everyone in the world needs a home” lyrics. R. Sef, Efremov's muses, the animals are building a house for Monkey (from soft modules), Monkey enters the house and looks out the window.

The words in the song have been changed:

1.No stake and no yard, so what?

1,2,3 and everything is done, and the housing is ready.

2.Everyone in the world needs a home - people and animals.

And the Monkey, and the Elephant, and even the piglets.

3. It’s good to go home, how nice it is

It's a shame that there is no summer in winter.

4.Everyone in the world needs a home - people and animals

And the Monkey and the Elephant and even the piglets.

all the animals lead a merry round dance around the house

There is such a good sign: to celebrate the New Year with the right books.

And what could be better in the Year of the Monkey than a book about a monkey? And even if you don’t believe in the Chinese horoscope, you probably believe in the talent of Boris Zakhoder. The same one who translated Winnie the Pooh, Mary Poppins, and Peter Pan into Russian.

He was a most talented man. And he not only translated and retold English-language classics, but also created his own fairy tales and poems.

“The Monkey’s House” is not the most famous work of Boris Zakhoder, but, meanwhile, it tells about the most interesting things. About procrastination. About setting false goals. About the influence of society on a person’s worldview.

Oh, that is, not a person, but a monkey. And although Zakhoder was going to write just a fairy tale about how bad it is to be lazy, in fact he came up with something much more interesting.

Who needs this morality?

I don’t know about others, but my son Semyon can smell any teachings and morals a kilometer away. And he really doesn’t like books with an overtly pedagogical message.

But reading should be a pleasure. The book should make you laugh or captivate, excite, capture. Stories about little animals or children who behaved badly and therefore deservedly suffered at the end of the book can hardly be called entertaining.

I imagine if we, adults, had to read similar books that poke our noses at our real or perceived shortcomings.

On what page, I wonder, would we howl with boredom and protest?

So with “The Monkey’s House” I was afraid that we might have a hitch while reading. After all, as the author himself admits in the last lines of this lively poetic story, he pursues purely educational goals:

I dedicate the book
To my little son,
To make it smaller
I imitated the Monkey!

So what did my own little son say after listening to the story of the monkey’s misadventures? And what do you want to tell me about this book?

About procrastination

Boris Zakhoder wanted to write a book about lazy people. And he wrote. The main character, Monkey, was going to build herself a house, but she never built it because she was always lazy and distracted by various stupid things. Either she went to visit, or she dozed in the sun. And in the end, she almost died the death of the brave when she got lost in the pouring rain and almost fell into the clutches of predators.

Yes, for Soviet times it was an ideal book. She denounced parasites, taught them to work, and showed that laziness and idleness are punishable. But decades have passed, the USSR has disappeared, and priorities have changed: it is no longer customary to mercilessly brand lazy people, and a person is required to live not so much by the sweat of his brow, but in harmony with himself and his inner calling.

What if your calling is to lie in the sun and actively communicate with others? Cheers to your health!

After all, in the language of past years, Monkey did not give any social obligations, was not hired for a job, and did not sign a contract. If I want, I build a house; if I want, I don’t. Everyone's personal business. No one depends on the Monkey, she does not lead anyone with her idleness, and small children do not cry without a roof over their heads. So the tailed heroine needs to deal exclusively with her time management and planning.

Personally, I saw in this funny book not so much laziness as procrastination. In his best. After all, in fact, the monkey is a classic, complete procrastinator. She doesn’t want to do a difficult, unpleasant and, in fact, completely unnecessary thing. Therefore, she skillfully finds thousands of excuses and reasons to postpone a boring task until tomorrow.

And, what’s most interesting, the Monkey came up with this boring and unnecessary task for herself! And why all? Because I saw birds and animals around me making nests and burrows. So she decided that she NEEDS it too. She rejected, so to speak, her true monkey essence and decided to pretend to be someone completely different, to build a house, to be LIKE EVERYONE else.

And here I completely agree with Zakhoder: don’t imitate this Monkey!

Don't live someone else's life, don't take over other people's dreams and goals, because nothing good will come of it.

“I don’t recommend reading this book to kids because they might get scared,” my son said about this illustration. Along the way, he noted that he was referring specifically to kids, and such mature and brave four-year-old boys as he, of course, are not afraid of lions or boa constrictors.

Overall, Semyon liked the book. Morality is morality, and Zakhoder was a magnificent poet. “The Monkey’s House” is very easy to read; the child listened quietly, fascinated by the rhythm and rhymes. I also looked at the pictures with interest - there are so many animals and birds depicted there, even I didn’t recognize them all. What a cute jerboa! And what a termite mound is depicted! And the nests of weaver birds!

Squinting in the sun

And he doesn’t want to get up.

Nearby is the Tkachik bird

He's busy at the nest,

And below are the Mice

They deftly dig a hole,

Baby Termites

They are also building something

Sticks, blades of grass

They drag along busily...

Hey! - Monkey shouts.

Hey there, Termites!

Why are you fussing?

Poor boogers?

I'll sleep off during the day... -

It's like it's in full swing

General fun

Bird chorus leads out

Sound roulades,

Having fun playing

Violinists Cicadas...

Dancing with Hippopotamus!

Gathered to Monkey:

Jerboa galloped up,

The Birds have arrived -

Where is Martyshkin's house?

Not at all.

And the hostess herself,

Like on a feather bed,

Sleeping on the top branch

Moduba Trees

And snores with a whistle -

Listen, if you like!

The guests were surprised

They won't understand what's going on.

Maybe the hostess

Are you very sick?

Hey Giraffe, listen up

You're longer than everyone else

Wake up Monkey

Talk to her!

Dear Monkey,

I'm sorry

You didn't cancel

Your invitation?

Monkey says,

Without being embarrassed at all:

What do you! Invitations

I didn't cancel.

But I said:

Come tomorrow

And now - today,

So wait!

Come back tomorrow!

Seems clear!

The guests stayed

And we went back.

Go home, guys!

Well, off to the swamp!

Yes, this is too much!

So trust the Monkeys!

Apparently from Monkey

Can't wait for the crumpet!

And she, shameless,

Just having fun:

I wish I could laugh

Don't fall off the branch!

How clever I am

Outsmarted everyone!

Come and go for tomorrow,

I say-and-la-ah!

The Monkey has come to life!

Would you like to see

How she rushed!

So still in her life

Running didn't happen!

From tree to tree

Wild jumps

That's how the branches bend

Under her arms

So they whip her

In the face of vines,

That's how the thorns tear

Monkey skin!

The heart still beats

Shortness of breath started...

Someone suddenly shouts:

Hey, wait, Monkey!

Poor Monkey,

Trembling with fear

Flopped to the ground

From all sides!

She stood up, dusted herself off...

She looked back timidly...

Who is in front of her?

Aunt Turtle!

Where are the guests?

Where's the pie? -

Monkey

She spat out of anger:

Are you still laughing

Above me,

A monkey?

Get it! -

And for a visit

They'll ask me.

So the Monkey is waiting

Tomorrow.

Will there ever be

Does Monkey have a house?
