Representatives of SRSPU (NPI) Daniil Kharlamov and Kirill Petryaev, who are engaged in the Center for Youth Innovative Creativity at the University, presented the projects "An unmanned system for monitoring the ornithological situation of an airfield" and "An autonomous unmanned system for diagnosing the state of a high-voltage power line."

“The first project is needed to ensure the security of airports. Our device allows birds to be scared off the runway using human-safe and highly sensitive ultrasound technology. The second device is a quadrocopter, which makes it possible to quickly monitor the state of high-voltage power lines with minimal human and financial costs, ”said Daniil Kharlamov, the author of the first project.

Note that the exposition "From the screw!" in 2007 became the first platform for the presentation creative works technically gifted schoolchildren and students at MAKS. Thanks to participation in the festival, all children who are keen on technical creativity from the most remote cities of Russia, small circles and large sections have the opportunity not only to present their inventions, but also to exchange experience with each other and with students, teachers of Moscow State University, KAI, MAI and other universities participating at the festival. For the second year, graduates of Sirius have taken part in the festival, in the opening of which two years ago, at the invitation of the President of the Russian Federation, young engineers took part.

Organizers of the Ot Vinta festival every year they improve the quality of the exposition and attract participants not only from Russia, but also from other countries. So, at MAKS-2017, the works of the young participants of the event attracted Special attention representatives of the aviation industry of the United Arab Emirates, and the guys received an invitation to present their exposition at the International Exhibition and Conference of Security Technologies and Defense Methods IDEX-2018 in Abu Dhabi.

Participants of the International Festival of Children's and Youth Scientific and Technical Creativity "Ot vinta!" first presented their inventions at the Eighth International Naval Show, which was held from June 29 to July 2 in St. Petersburg.

“An important event for the guys was the meeting with the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the Board of the Military-Industrial Commission Russian Federation, the supervisory board of the Roscosmos State Corporation by Dmitry Rogozin, who highly appreciated the inquisitive minds and great potential of the young generation "

Within the framework of the salon, which for the first time in its history hosted representatives of youth scientific and technical creativity at the site, many interesting meetings were held with leading industry experts and representatives of delegations from all over the world. Among the guests is the President of the United Shipbuilding Corporation Alexey Rakhmanov, whose kind support helped to realize the most daring ideas and plans.

A particularly solemn and honorable event for the guys was a visit to the stand by the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy, Vladimir Korolev, who, together with the commander of the Angolan Navy, studied the projects of the participants of the "From the screw!" and showed a genuine interest in them. An important event for the children was a meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the Board of the Military-Industrial Commission of the Russian Federation, Supervisory Board of the State Corporation Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin, who highly appreciated the inquisitive minds and great potential of the young generation: “It is important to continue to actively support the festival“ From screw! ”! It is necessary not only to attract children to the industrial sphere, but also to help pave the way to it - to connect the domestic industry and youth, "Rogozin instructed. “You are on the right track. I am already familiar with the activities of the festival - two years ago I visited your stand at the MAKS International Aviation Show. I am glad that the festival continues to develop! ”, - he added and wished the children further success and victories on their chosen professional path.

Among the inventions of young engineers that aroused keen interest were an unmanned boat with an increased margin of autonomy, a model of an autonomous underwater vehicle with remote control, as well as battleships, icebreakers and steamers.

Four schoolchildren from St. Petersburg, participants of "From the screw!" - Yan Evdokimov (15 years old), Kirill Kupyansky (16 years old), Gleb Vlasov (14 years old) and Andrey Mikhailov (11 years old), - presented a model of an aircraft that will never fall.

“This creates a cushion effect and increases its carrying capacity,” explains Yang. - The main problem is that, due to the rise of the aircraft from the cushion, the lift center of the wing is shifted forward. Conventional ekranoplanes stand on the tail. For this reason, there have been many well-known disasters. "

In the future, Yan Evdokimov sees himself as an aircraft designer: “This is very interesting to me. Many people think it's easy to build an airplane, but there are a number of pitfalls. You find out about this when you start to seriously understand, ”the boy says seriously.

The novice designer Ilya Maksimov (11 years old) from the city of Izhevsk will be able to present his work, which was unanimously highly appreciated, at the International Industrial Exhibition INNOPROM -2017, which will be held from July 10 to 13 in Yekaterinburg. “I made a remote-controlled submarine,” says Ilya. “This is a working model that carries out all the planned processes, and during the design study it will be able to execute commands from the remote control while submerged in water.”

In addition to the presentation of the Ot Vinta stand, which was a great success among the guests, interesting specialized excursions awaited the young inventors, where they discovered a lot of new things. In addition to acquaintance with domestic and foreign expositions presented at the event, within the framework of a rich educational program of the salon, the guys visited the Baltic Shipyard, examined the Naval Museum, the port city of Kronstadt and even boarded a submarine, which brought them great joy. Also, for the children we had an exclusive excursion to the warship - the minesweeper "Alexander Obukhov", which came from the Baltic. The cultural part of the event prepared for the children an excursion around St. Petersburg and a trip to the State Hermitage.

Vladimir Gutenev, in his commentary, emphasized the importance of traditions prevailing at such events: “Talented guys not only demonstrate their potential, amaze with their resourcefulness and improve in the field of engineering and technical creativity - they learn to communicate, find like-minded people and form alliances. Before our eyes, a professional community of the highest level is being formed - the future of Russian engineering! That is why the recognition of their achievements at the Russian and international levels is so important and necessary, ”he stressed.

As a reminder, over 400 companies took part in the Eighth International Maritime Defense Show. The Russian part of the exposition is represented by 105 companies.
