Any delay along the route or a sudden failure of any vehicle system at the scene of a fire can lead to significant losses, and in some cases to human casualties. Therefore, the requirements for combat readiness and operational mobility of modern aircraft are constantly increasing.

Upon receipt of an operational task, the PA is used in an intensive mode: movement occurs with maximum use of the power of an unheated engine and an unheated transmission, combat work in a fire is accompanied by an intensive selection of stationary power when exposed to powerful heat fluxes. As a result, the technical condition of the car deteriorates, and the efficiency of its work decreases. An effective maintenance system is required to ensure the proper level of PA operability and the full realization of its potential properties. Such a system makes it possible to identify latent defects in advance, determine the list of necessary preventive measures and the amount of repair. The initial data obtained at the same time allow not only diagnosing the state of the car at the time of control, but also predicting it for the future.

The composition of production zones and departments (sections) is taken on the basis of technological processes of maintenance and repair of PA and software, taking into account standard projects of PTZ, software (H) TS.

The production building of the PTTs, PO (Ch) TS should include posts TO-2 and posts of all types of repair.

During the technological design of the TO and R posts, the following issues are resolved:

The posts of the zones of maintenance ~ 2 and repairs are equipped with inspection ditches, hoists of various types and purposes. When distributing maintenance posts, it should be borne in mind that universal posts and posts for engine repairs should be located on inspection ditches,

posts for the repair of transmission units, brakes, steering, axles and suspensions on lifts.

Dead-end and direct-flow posts are equipped with ditches. The arrangement of ditches depends on the design of the vehicle, technological equipment and the purpose of the posts. The length of the ditch must be at least the length of the vehicle. The depth of the ditch, taking into account the vehicle's ground clearance, should be 1.2-1.3 m. The width of narrow ditches is no more than 0.9 m with reinforced concrete flanges and 1.1 m - with metal ones (Appendix 8). Narrow ditches with the simplicity of the device are versatile, i.e. suitable for all brands of fire fighting vehicles. Ditches should have an entrance with stepped stairs located outside the working area of ​​the ditch.

Narrow parallel ditches are connected by an open trench or tunnel. The width of the trench (tunnel) can be 1 ... 2 m. Low-voltage (up to 12 V) lamps are installed in the niches of the ditch walls. The ditches must be ventilated and heated by an inflow of warm air. To remove exhaust gases, the ditches must have special exhaust devices. Depending on the purpose, the ditches are equipped with lifting devices (ditch lifts), mobile funnels for draining used oil and devices for filling with oil, lubricants, water and air.

The sections on the plan of the production building are placed so that the repaired units and bulky parts can be mixed along the shortest path.

Premises, technologically connected with TO-2, are located near the posts of TO-2. Premises for performing aggregate mechanical, welded, bodywork and painting works, as well as warehouses for spare parts, assemblies and materials, are brought closer to repair posts.

It is advisable to place the test section next to the engine repair * tool-distributing storeroom - with a mechanic section. Areas where a large amount of water is required should be concentrated in one place.

In accordance with fire safety requirements, flammable areas (welding, forging, etc.) are recommended to be located in groups at the outer walls and isolated from other rooms with fire-resistant walls.

Areas with flammable industries (wallpaper, painting) must not be located near flammable areas.

When drawing the layout plan of the production building using the accepted conventions, the designations show the overall dimensions of the buildings, the width of the span and the pitch of the columns, walls, partitions

boundaries between sites, lifting vehicles, etc. All elements of the building are shown in accordance with the accepted conventions shown in the table in Appendix 10.

The production buildings of PO (P) TS and PTC are usually designed as two-span buildings with a dead-end arrangement of posts. The main production areas are arranged on one side of the building in a six-meter span. Option "layout is given in the figure in Appendix 5,

When assembling, it is difficult to ensure the coincidence of the calculated areas with the accepted ones, therefore, their discrepancy is allowed within ± 15%.

The technological planning of the equipment of the sites is carried out on the basis of the layout plan. This layout shall show the building elements of the building "influencing the arrangement of equipment, the location of workers, the places of supply of electricity, water, compressed air, etc. The number of main equipment is set according to the timesheet in accordance with Appendix 4. For planning, each type of equipment has a symbol, the shape of which corresponds to its contours on the plan, and the dimensions correspond to the dimensions in the appropriate scale. Equipment outlines are shown in a simplified manner. The dimensions of the equipment are shown in the table in Appendix 12.

Near the equipment, they show the location of the worker in the form of a circle with a diameter of 500 mm (on the appropriate scale). Half the circle is shaded. The light half of the circle represents the face of the worker and should face the equipment.

The numbering of all types of equipment on the site is through, usually from left, right and from top to bottom. The equipment number is indicated inside the outline in Arabic numerals or outside it at the end of the extension line. On the drawing sheet, students show in detail the inspection ditches of all types of repair and maintenance-2 zones, as well as the technological layout (arrangement of equipment) for the areas provided for by the task, the version of which is selected according to the last digit of the record book number:

Hoisting-and-transport equipment is numbered after the technological one. Overhead cranes, girder cranes with an electric hoist, monorails with an electric hoist or electric hoist, jib cranes (jib cranes) with an electric hoist, trolleys for moving loads on rails or on the floor are used as hoisting vehicles.

When justifying the lifting and handling equipment, the nature of the work performed, the service area, the possibility of placing the lifting and handling equipment on the site, the intensity of the traffic flow, the dimensions of the transported objects, etc. are taken into account. Of the seven universities of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, the institute in Yekaterinburg is the only professional institution of the ministry located in the Asian part of the country. Directions of training

Here, personnel training of qualified personnel is carried out for state commanding positions in the security service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. On the basis of complete secondary education, students are trained in the following specialties:

Conditions of education

Studying at the Institute of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Yekaterinburg is quite prestigious, but not entirely easy, because such a structure presupposes strict discipline, a high level of physical and psychological training.

In the paramilitary structure of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, there are female cadets aged 17 to 25 years. Applicants, whose age is from 26 to 40 years old, have the right to study only for correspondence department and must have one or more higher educations.

Entrance tests

The main form of university entrance exams is the Unified State Exam. The passing mark here is quite high and at the same time depends on the chosen faculty; it is determined directly during the introductory campaign. Basic subjects such as mathematics and Russian are taken in the form of an interview; standards for physical fitness are also passed. The level of the latter test is assessed differently for men and women, but the exercises performed are the same for everyone:

  • running 1 km;
  • long jump;
  • pull-ups and / or push-ups;
  • running a short distance.

It is also necessary to be ready to undergo psychological testing to establish the compliance of the applicant with his chosen specialty and to identify the stability of the psyche. In a few hours, professional psychologists will assess the thinking, attention, memory, and intellectual development of the future cadet. If this testing suddenly turns out to be beyond the power, the applicant is not allowed to further pass the tests.

It is worth remembering that the requirements for the state of the physical and mental health, presented to cadets of military educational institutions, are spelled out in the order of the Minister of Defense Russian Federation.


There is a preferential option for admission to the Institute of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Yekaterinburg: the winners of subject Olympiads and prize-winners of sports competitions, as a rule, are enrolled in training out of competition.

In case of unsatisfactory passage of the introductory campaign, the applicant has the right to appeal. In this case, a special commission is convened to review applicants' applications for retaking tests.

So, on June 1, 2017, the cadets of the "fire safety" faculty made a traditional march of 14 km, during which they worked out the standards for civil defense and the provision of the first medical care... And the next day, on the stage of the cultural center, the opening ceremony of the "Human Factor" tournament in providing first aid took place. The leader of these competitions was the "Vita" team, consisting entirely of female cadets.

On the same day, June 2, in the educational institution, the delivery took place state examination among cadets - graduates of the fire safety faculty.

In 2017, the 81st graduation of cadets will take place - 204 graduates in both specialties, 28 of which will receive honors diplomas, and 8 of them will be awarded the EMERCOM of Russia gold medals “For special success in training”. All graduates will be provided with positions in the departments of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation.

The Ural Institute of the State Fire Service of the EMERCOM of Russia is one of the oldest educational institutions in the field of protecting the population and territories, counting its history since 1929.

Ural Institute of GPS is the only one educational institution EMERCOM of Russia, located in the Asian part of the country, is organizing a regional branch educational center for advanced training and retraining of the leadership of the EMERCOM of Russia, leaders and specialists in the field of fire safety of the Volga-Ural, Siberian and Far Eastern regional centers.

On the territory of the institute, there are buildings for a training fire station, dormitory buildings, a sports arena, an open training tower, a medical unit with an isolator, a heat chamber and other life support facilities of the institute.

At a distance of 30 km there is a suburban training and sports center, and in the village of Koltsovo there is the second training area of ​​the institute, where all conditions for training and living of cadets are created.

The institute has 11 lecture rooms and 36 classrooms, 38 special rooms, 5 laboratories, a shooting range for 5 directions, a club for 650 seats, 4 sports facilities.

The Institute annually takes part in regional specialized exhibitions devoted to the problems of ensuring fire safety, where the Institute's exposition has been awarded more than once.

To carry out scientific research, the institute takes part in solving problems determined by the plan of research and development work of the ministry and maintains scientific and technical ties with the Center for Strategic Research of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia.

Created and functioning on the basis of the institute, creative teams contribute to the moral and aesthetic education of cadets and the younger generation, promoting the prestige of the educational institution and the characteristics of service in the EMERCOM of Russia. All creative groups of amateur performances have a sufficient artistic level to carry out work on the formation of high moral and aesthetic tastes in introducing personnel to the world of art.

The library fund of the institute is 141,227 copies of printed publications. There are 44 copies of documents for one student of the institute. The main fund of the library is educational, methodological and normative literature in the specialty - Fire safety.

The pride of the institute is not only the education of firefighting professionals, but also sports traditions. Olympic champions - honored masters of sports in biathlon Y. Kashkarov, A. Popov, prize-winner of international competitions in cross-country skiing, master of sports of international class Y. Badamshin have emerged from its walls.

Over the years of the institute's existence, thousands of cadets have fulfilled the standards of the I-III category, hundreds of candidates and masters of sports in fire and rescue sports. On the high level of physical fitness of the cadets of the institute, on the mass scale of classes in the sections, on the support and interest of the leadership of the institute in healthy way life is evidenced by the sporting achievements of our cadets and teachers in the sports day of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia and the regional council "Dynamo".
