Tatiana Bokova
Writer

The Chitaika magazine is not only a storehouse of interesting and informative information, but also an excellent "navigator" for boys and girls on their fascinating journey into the world of reading.
As a children's writer and as an avid reader I love "Chitayka", I read this magazine with pleasure and read its main characters: the clever Owlet and the tomboy Chitayka!
And I also thank the editor-in-chief of the magazine Tatyana Zhukova for the wonderful idea to unite all the children of the country around the magazine: both those who "swallow" books in piles and those who are just getting used to literary spaces.
I invite all "readers" to my Children's Planet on Youtube, where my cartoons, songs, poems and fairy tales live. Let "Chitaika" and "CHILDREN'S PLANET TV" become friends!

Tamara Kryukova
Writer

The Chitaika magazine has been published for eleven years, which means that those who read the very first issue have already grown up. Now they read other magazines and other books.
You will grow in the same way. You will almost forget that there is a magical forest and that sometimes toys come to life. But the time will come when you will have little daughters and sons. Don't believe me? But that's exactly how it will be.
And then they will help you to trod down the long-forgotten path to the fairy tale again. You will return and see that everything is still here, we are waiting for you.
So, as you grow up, do not forget to leave the door to childhood ajar. Because here you are still glad to see you.

Tatiana Varlamova
poet

Dear Reader, do you like interesting and colorful magazines? Magazines that take you into the world of extraordinary adventures, good fairy tales and informative stories! Magazines whose drawings you admire for a long time on every page!
You, of course, guessed that we are talking about the magazine "Chitaika"! I met "Chitayka" six years ago, when I first came to the editorial office with a selection of poems. We became friends, and my poems began to appear on the pages of the magazine with wonderful illustrations! I would be glad if you like my poems. And I really want the magazine to always remain as bright and informative!

Lyudmila Ulanova,
poet, writer, translator

I write about what interests me. And it is interesting from childhood.
When I was as old as the readers of our magazine are now, I wanted to know as much as possible about names and surnames. Leo Uspensky's book You and Your Name was one of my favorites. Well, of course, I also composed poetry from the age of eight or nine.
If then I had such a magazine as "Chitaika" - a magazine-storyteller, a magazine-interlocutor, I would be just happy. So I kind of write for myself as a child.
I am absolutely sure that there are a lot of guys who are able to take in rather serious information even now. It is simply desirable to serve it lightly, which is what I am trying to do.

Leonid ZIMAN
teacher, writer, translator

Every month we are visited by an inquisitive boy Chitaika and his friend the wise Owlet. Thanks to them, we get to know the works of modern writers.
We will learn about the life and work of classic writers.
We set off on an exciting journey through the pages of books - familiar and unfamiliar.
And we comprehend the difficult science of versification.
Chitayka is a funny, perky word! If (when pronouncing) before the last syllable you make a small pause or put a hyphen in front of this syllable, then the noun read becomes an imperative verb: read. But in this form, this verb does not sound like an order or compulsion, but only as a proposal, advice. Good and wise advice. I would be glad if you heed this advice.

I really enjoy creating and drawing characters and the world they live in. Previously, I worked as an animator, creating cartoons.
One of my favorites is about the wonderful, playful and inquisitive Moomins from the Finnish fairy tale Tove Janson. We shot on television in Yekaterinburg, a trilogy based on this fairy tale: about summer in Moomin-Dol, autumn and a magic hat. Another of my favorite cartoons is "Strange Bird", where I am a director and animator.
Now I am an illustrator and I draw for children for our favorite magazine "Chitaika".
I wish you interesting stories, funny poems, entertaining headings, crosswords, educational games and bright pictures.
